Will of Maria Theresa Trimmer, 1842

Abstract of will

I Maria Theresa Trimmer of Brentford, spinster

... I give, devise and bequeath unto my sister Catherine Trimmer, her heirs ... all my real and personal estate

... and I appoint my said sister sole executrix...

... dated 18th April 1838

... witnessed by James Rustat Trimmer, Brentford Middlesex; James Clt (Clement) Leader, Brentford; Charlotte Denn

... proved at London on 6th April 1842

The testator

Greg Finch advises that Maria Theresa Trimmer and Catherine Trimmer were cousins of James Rustat Trimmer; their father Abraham Trimmer (1743-1822) was a younger brother to James Trimmer (1737 - 1792) and was the brewer who married Ann Harvest in 1777. More about the Harvest and Trimmer families.

In the 1841 census Maria Theresa Trimmer and Catherine Trimmer were living in Market Place, near the Red Lion Yard, aged '55' and '45' respectively.
