St Lawrence with St Paul’s School Swimming Team, around 1955
Christine Howes sent several 1950s photos in May 2013. This one shows the St Lawrence with St Paul’s School Swimming Team, Pennington Cup?? Stephen Howes (curly hair) middle back, Margaret Howes bottom right and I think the girls are Rita ? Elaine? and Sheila Gilchrist?Sheila Hale (nee Burton) wrote in March 2016: 'I am the first on the left sitting on the bench. I look very self conscious because I am wearing a borrowed swimming costume which I did not like! How this has bought back memories. I believe the third person along is Lynn Wetton (spelling may be different)'.
