New Red Lion, Ealing Road
Stephen Reed sent over 20 photos from the mid 1970s during 2017. This one was taken in October 1975 near the corner of Ealing Road looking east. The gasometer is evident and further away the campanile-style standpipe tower of the Grand Junction Water Works. The foreground looks rather scrappy and unloved.Heading away was a no. 267 doubledecker bus and sundry other traffic.
