Brentford Redevelopment, August 2021 - Dig

The south side of New Brentford is being redeveloped by Ballymore and Janet McNamara is keeping a photographic record.

These photos feature the archaeological dig at the corner of High Street and the site of Catherine Wheel Yard. BrentfordTW8 web site, 20 Aug 2021: 'Experts from the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) were commissioned by Hounslow Council to carry out an excavation on the site over a three month period. The dig has now concluded.' See link below to read in full.

The first three photos are from mid-August 2021 and were taken from the corner of Catherine Wheel Road looking west.

The two brick buildings in the bacground of all five photos were once the warehouses of James Bradbury, grocer. They are being retained.
