Watney's delivery, King's Arms, summer 1972Peter Young took this photo on 10 Aug 1972: the bright red Watney's tanker making a delivery to the King's Arms. Watney's Red Barrel had a reputation for being sweet, fizzy and bland and got rather a hammering by CAMRA; sales in the UK stopped by 1980 but it was still sold abroad.
