Class 3 at St Paul's School Brentford, 1918/1919

Class photo taken outside

Kay Day provided this photo, the original is a beautiful sepia. It shows a class of 33 eight year old girls at St Paul's School in 1918 or 1919. 'My mother 'granny Daubney' is second row down second child in'.

St Paul's school for infants and juniors opened in 1873, a few years after St Paul's church. See British History Online for a detailed account of the dates schools in the Brentford area were built, number of pupil etc.

If you recognise any of the girls please get in touch.
