Thrussington Glebe Terrier, 1625
The original document is held at Lincolnshire Archives, later glebe terries are at the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland.
The document is in secretary script, quite tricky to read. My transcription retains the original line breaks and spelling.
I have added the following:
- Abbreviations are expanded using square brackets, for example 'p[ar]ishe' and 'Com[m]on'
- Page breaks from the original are indicated in round brackets
- Any uncertain words are included in round brackets with a ?, for example (Style?)
- A number in round brackets is added after each description of land (to help me summarise the content and compare with other terriers)
- Two crossings out are shown
- A word inserted in the original is shown: '^ a v'.
