Notes

The site has several references to people named Collett from the late 18th century onwards: use search to find them. There is a series of baptisms to John and Jane Collett at St Lawrence, New Brentford between 1771 and 1784, including a Matthew 24 July1774 (ancestry). The original entry shows his middle name - Bance - and gives his father's occupation: shoemaker.

The same site includes the marriage of John Collett to Jane Bance on 28 AUgust 1770 at St Mary Hanwell. Both were of New Brentford and the marriage was by banns.
