Charabanc

Charabanc

Mike Perry has provided this photo from his family album, names not known.

It shows a charabanc with six rows of seats, each occupied by three or more people.

Comparing with Alan Dear's charabanc photo, which was from around 1912, I think this is later (1920/30?).

The photo may have been taken just before the trip started or maybe at a lunch stop. Unfortunately the sign on the single-storey building behind the charbanc is unclear - it starts 'The' and there are two words on the next line, each 6-8 letters long. Was this in Brentford?

If you can help with names, a date or location please get in touch.
