Charabanc

30 men and driver sitting in or standing beside a charabanc

Picture provided by Alan Dear who says John Dear is standing second from the left and Thomas Dear, Alan's great grandad, is standing far right. Alan comments 'men only of course'!

The photo was taken outside the Duke of York, on the Great West Road. The Richmond & Hounslow CAMRA web site includes a similar view of the pub taken in 2006: it was later known as the New England Restaurant & Bar.

Estimated date of photo: 1912.
