Royal Brewery, early 1900s

Howard Webb provided this Photo Card by Wakefield of Brentford. The image below has been cropped: the original includes the wording

to the right of the photo.

The card shows the Brewery Tap PH at 22 High Street and the Royal Brewery building next door, with a number of brewery workers standing outside the high arched entry.

Further along the projecting sign is probably for the Half Moon & Seven Stars PH at 25 High Street.

More about the Brewery Tap and Royal Brewery. 'Brentford & Chiswick Pubs' by Gillian Clegg includes a history of the Royal Brewery with several images.
