Not Brentford

1945/6 photo by H. Felton: numbers 303 - 306

four terraced properties with a few steps up to the front doors, dormers in roof

The photos show what look like two storey properties to me, but in the 1909/10 Valuation Records the properties are described as having three storeys and a cellar. Fortunately a gentleman who lived at no. 304 in the 1940s has confirmed the photo shows his old home.

The 1940 trade directory entries are:

  • 303: no reference
  • 304: Alfred Wilson Sanders
  • 305: no reference
  • 306: William John Dawes, basket maker
