Brentford Families - Hamlin

Jean Dunsdon has provided a couple of newpaper cuttings from the Brentford & Chiswick Times newspaper. The first was published on Friday, January 14 1956 and features Clara and her second husband Percy Hamlin, who lived in The Ham. Their home was near the Grand Union Canal and frequently suffered from flooding.

The headline reads 'Is the end in sight? Forgotten families ask'

Jean also provided the funeral announcement for Clara Hamlin (formerly Langley) from 1963, which includes details of the Hamlin family: Newscutting
